Dear Ali, It probably doesn't work. When you download the program from PC to RCU, the program is already been compiled and turned into an executable file. This executable file cannot be returned to original program for the codes in compiling process is unknown. Could you explain your purpose a little bit more? So that other ways might be suggested.

It's recommended to download two softwares, "Robot Express programming software" at http://www.roboexp.com/download/list.asp?id=22 and "robot discovery" at http://www.roboexp.com/download/list.asp?id=20. - May i ask how to make the compass more accurate? i place the car at the same place few times, but the reading varies. Another problem is that how to make my grey scale car follow the line with a acute angle?(ie < 90degree.) are there any tips for me to setup the grey scale sensors? how many sensors should be used will have better performance? and how the program theory?? THANKS VERY MUCH!!!

Dear Horest, Thanks for your support to JoinMax. Based on your description, it might be because the compass hasn't done hardware compensation. Could you try that by following the steps of compass manual? Besides, there is a vedio (in Mandarin) here http://www.robotplayer.com/download/list.asp?id=326. Hope it can help better your understanding to the compass usage. There are various ways to cope with acute angle. For RCJ rescue, here comes a new line-tracking grayscale board (JMP-BE-1118, coming soon). Seven grayscales are arranged in a line, numbered 1 23456 7. (Number 1 and 7 gets some space from the other ones.)The middle 5 is to track lines, and number 1 and 7 to record the time when line is last tracked. Define a Global Parameter "flag": flag=0 when Sensor 1 finds the line, flag=1 when Sensor 7 does. When none finds the line, it's probably caused by acute angle. In this case, relative "angle turning" program (turn left when flag==0; otherwise turn right) can be used. There is break in line for RCJ rescue. If it takes all sensors more than 0.5 second to detect line but in vain since line was last detected, it's regarded as break in line, and the robot can go straight.
